Earlier this week I somehow realized that James Dean was killed in a small little town in eastern San Luis Obispo County. And, since I'm from Indiana and we get obsessed with our famous people, I decided that I needed to visit the memorial at his death site. I mean, after all, I've seen the man's star in Hollywood and I've seen his grave and birthplace in Fairmount, Indiana.


Sadly, this said "James Dean" but people took the letters off of it.


Where, I think, the crash actually took place.









Also, James Dean was killed when a Cal Poly student ran into his car. Interesting, huh?
